Methods of users generating a service ticket
- IST Service Desk
- Mail to arcs@njit.edu
- ARCS will forward the email to sdsvc@njit.edu, with Cc to arcs@nji9t.edu, and include the following informatioa:n
- Service
- Category
- Sub-category
- Assign to
- Priority
- sdsvc (A. Farber and J. Soltis) will create a service ticket, if appropriate, and inform the user of
the ticket number
Service ticket creation will normally occur within an hour of sdsvc receipt of the email from ARCS, during regular business hours.
Other
- sdsvc will add the sub-category "Software installation" to category "HPC">
- sdsvc will add the category "AFS-websites", with sub-categories:
- Club
- Individual
- Lab
- Research
- ServiceRequests will list the two methods above of generating a service ticket
