Indiana University Research Technolgies is replacing its OAFS Research File System with Box cloud storage. See [1]

The AuriStor roadmap calls for cloud storage capabilities : [2]

The implication of this is that AuriStor is well aware of the plethora of storage options, and intends to provide compatibility with storage methods that are important to its constituents, under one consistent filesystem, as opposed to a patchwork of filesystems (if such a patchwork could be made to provide similar functionality).
